namuk’s team was spending a staggering 140 hours each month dealing with Magento hosting, updates, and custom payment integrations. That drain on time meant new features sat in limbo, site speed lagged, and checkout processes became prone to errors. Parents expecting smooth shopping experiences were put off by slow page loads or confusing payment steps.
In early 2022, namuk decided enough was enough. They brought in Shopify Plus and tapped Code Digital to handle the migration. The move off Magento immediately lifted the burden of self-managed hosting, security patches, and manual payments tweaking. Within weeks, site speed improved, and the team could craft or tweak landing pages in under 30 minutes.
A big win was regaining control over content. Rather than waiting for developers, the marketing team could update banners, banners, and product promos themselves. With visual editors and drag-and-drop sections, they designed campaigns that aligned with seasonal drops and second-hand launch events without coding.
Shopify Plus’s multi-currency and multi-language features let namuk launch in new markets without custom builds. They rolled out localized sites for German- and French-speaking regions in under a month, testing ads in different markets and optimizing promotions on the fly.
Now namuk focuses on product innovation—waterproof kids jackets, sustainable materials, and a second-hand collection called namuk ReUse—rather than wrestling with code. They lean on Shopify’s infrastructure for updates, security, and performance, confident the platform scales with their growth.
