In 2018, Nicole Spencer quit her day job as a fitness studio owner and teacher to launch Authentic Conversion. She drew on years of experience growing Best Body Bootcamps in Georgia and helping peers through a business coaching company. Her goal was simple: create a system that guides fitness entrepreneurs from followers to paying clients without pushy ads.
Early on, Nicole used Facebook Live videos and student interviews to showcase quick wins. Those free sessions drove sign-ups and built trust. She packaged her step-by-step methods into group coaching cohorts, teaching members how to craft posts, build email sequences, and nurture leads organically. Content marketing wasnβt a side tactic; it was the engine that fueled virtually all her growth.
One major bottleneck was Nicoleβs perfectionism. She worried only she could deliver top-tier coaching. Over time, she trained former students to lead calls and handle client questions. Because the methodology was documented, new contractors mastered the program fast. This shift freed Nicole to design new modules and refine marketing funnels.
By 2023, Authentic Conversion hit $3 million in annual revenue with a profit margin above 50%. The team remained lean, six contractors, no full-time staff. Nicole managed client success checks, while contractors ran weekly coaching calls. The result: consistent delivery and margins that attracted buyer interest.
Feeling burned out and craving balance, Nicole engaged Website Closers as a broker. What took two months selling her gym stretched into eight months for Authentic Conversion, including a six-month due diligence period. In September 2023, she closed a seven-figure deal with Kings of Deals, including a year-long transition that wraps in September 2024.
With her personal brand firmly established, Nicole is exploring passive investments in equipment rentals and planning to share her story via public speaking or a book. She wants her next project to feel easier than the marathon she just ran building Authentic Conversion.
