ATTITUDE Living had outgrown its former front-end provider, which was being sunset. The team faced slow page loads, disconnected content management, and high maintenance fees across multiple regional stores. They needed a modern solution to display product details, eco-credentials, and brand messages in an engaging way while consolidating operations.
With rising competition in health and beauty, ATTITUDE needed a fast, flexible headless architecture that supported rich product pages and dynamic content without a third-party CMS. They wanted clear ingredient details, certification badges, interactive filters, and an innovative menu banner for discovery. At the same time, reducing costs and unifying brand identity by merging stores in Canada and the US into a master codebase was critical.
Partnering with Shopify expert Novatize, the brand rebuilt its front end usingShopify Hydrogenand hosted withShopify Oxygen. The team leveraged Remix for server-side rendering and client interactions to keep components snappy. Shogun was added for landing-page building, letting marketers assemble custom layouts without code. Shopify metaobjects and metafields replaced the old CMS, giving merchandisers control over product text, images, and region-specific content directly in the admin.
They created an interactive sun care discovery page with filters for UV protection level, ingredients, and certifications. Product pages now highlight natural components, EWG VERIFIED status, PETA approval, and FSC-certified packaging. Complementary product suggestions appear based on browsing behavior, helping shoppers build routines.
